Our hiking trail

It might have been closed at the time, we didn’t know, but it certainly could have been. We were following one set of footprints which seemed to know where they were going, so if we considered ourselves pretty lucky when we actually made it to the top. There was a lot of snow up there. A lot of snow. By the time we had gotten half way up, my shoes and lower pants were soaked from the melted snow. Cold. I would venture to guess that it was below zero. On the Celsius scale.
